Strait Gait Stables is centrally located in the beautiful Willamette Valley, between Corvallis, Lebanon, Salem and
Eugene. It is a convenient relaxing oasis just 3 miles from the growing suburban landscape of Albany, yet it is far
enough away to enjoy the quiet countryside on horseback.
The Albany Expo Fairgrounds, Oregon State University and
Interstate I-5 are only 7 miles from the facility. Linn-Benton Community College is just 5 miles from
us.
The owners, Robert and Mary have over 60+ years of combined experience. They have developed a reputation
as dedicated professionals, offering a modest facility for boarding, teaching riding and horse care to all ages and abilities.
There is a place for everyone at SGS, from the experience competitive rider to the beginning or pleasure rider. All
breeds and disciplines are welcomed.
Strait Gate Stables offers a unique combination of function and charm
in which you can enjoy yourself. Join them for full care boarding, trail riding, lessons, clinics and shows.
